Cowboys CB Claiborne Out With MCL Sprain
OXNARD, Calif. (Sports Network) - Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
That's according to the Dallas Morning News, which reported Saturday that the injury occurred during a Wednesday practice. It is unknown how much time the rookie will miss while recovering.
Claiborne, the LSU product who agreed to terms on a four-year contract on July 23, had been unable to practice all offseason because of a wrist injury that required surgery prior to the draft.
