Couple More Days Of Nice Weather
Simply stunning weather for Sunday; the high hit 70° for the first time since Dec. 13th. This despite a morning low of 33°! What a warm-up!
We enjoyed blue skies and very low humidity. About the only negative you could mention is that the breezy southwest winds created a little bit of a fire danger. Another great day for to make it a trio for the long weekend. MLK Day is more than okay weather wise; it'll be near perfect weather.
We'll have a weak cold front enter the picture on Tuesday. We expect a few clouds and a north wind but still a nice winter day. There is a potent upper-level storm off the coast of southern California this evening. It arrives here on Wednesday night:
We our entering our fifth year of drought and the hope was that an El Nino Winter would bring good rains. We've had rain but not nearly enough to help fill the water reservoirs. The one forecast to arrive late Wednesday night could be a good soaking. Most of it will fall on Thursday and across the southern half. It'll be a cold rain on Thursday with a high in the mid-40's. Right now it doesn't look like we have a risk of winter weather:
