Cops Hurt After Squad Car Hit
Two Fort Worth police officers were rushed to the hospital after a pick-up smashed into their squad car late last night. The officers were stopped for an earlier incident on Camp Bowie Boulevard, just south of I-30 in West Fort Worth. While they sat in the squad car, just past 11:30 p.m., it was rear-ended by a pick-up truck, pushing the squad car forward for at least ten to fifteen yards. The officers did not suffer life-threatening injuries but they were taken to a Fort Worth hospital for observation. The pick-up driver was questioned and police are now waiting for blood tests to verify whether she had been drinking.
