Cool Mornings, Pleasant Afternoons: Rain for the Weekend

Just beautiful weather to start the week.  This time of year it usually is jackets in the morning and then short sleeves in the afternoon.  We will see more of that thru midweek.

Here are a look at the low temperatures from this morning.

MONDAY EVENING FORECAST

TUESDAY FORECAST

QUIET WEATHER IN THE HEART OF THE COUNTRY

Storm systems are located on both coast, but in the middle is lots of sunshine.

UPPER LEVEL WIND PATTERN

The upper level wind pattern shows two troughs of low pressure on both sides of the country.  But in the middle is high pressure.

RAIN CHANCES THIS WEEKEND

By this weekend that big upper level low shown above over the Pacific Northwest will rotate over the Rockies and then move into the northern Plains.  This will push a cold front into the area on Saturday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday and Sunday.  The front will likely stall which will linger rain chances thru the weekend.  Doesn't look like washout but there will be some rain around for the weekend.

POLLEN COUNT

7-DAY FORECAST
