Coldest Weekend Since March coming for North Texas! 50s on Saturday
HERE IT COMES...
Our cold front is still on track to move in Friday night and bring us the coldest weekend we have seen since March. Temperatures on Saturday will only stay in the 50s all day with cloudy skies, occasional rain, and blustery north winds up to 30 mph. Lovely right? Sunday will be dry but chilly. Lows Sunday morning will start in the 40s and will only warm to 62 degrees.
NICE WEATHER UNTIL FRONT ARRIVES...
We are enjoying some really nice fall weather today. That will continue thru Friday until the front arrives. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Friday will top out in the mid to low 80s with mostly sunny skies.
AS OF 4PM WEDNESDAY HERE IS THE LOCATION OF THE COLD FRONT...
Temperatures behind the front are in the 30s and 40s with even some light snow being reported in the Dakotas.
The front will push all the way to Oklahoma by tomorrow night. It will then stall just north of the Red River on Friday before getting a push southward Friday night into Saturday morning. I look for the front the push thru the DFW area after midnight Friday night and before sunrise Saturday morning. There will be some showers along the front and possibly an isolated thunderstorm, but severe weather is not expected.
