City Giving Away Free Toilets
Few things are free anymore, but the City of Arlington is giving away hundreds of toilets. Arlington residents can apply to receive one of the 500 high-efficiency toilets up for grabs. It's meant to save water over older, less-efficient toilets.
Residents can apply online. Arlington Water Utilities says the home toilet can account for nearly 30 percent of total indoor water usage.
