Chilly Start, Nice Afternoon

Lows this morning dropped down to the 50's in the outlying areas.  The last time it was in the 50's at DFW Airport was way back on April 24th when it got down to 53°.

Humidity will be low and sunshine will be aplenty for today. Highs should reach into the upper 80's to around 90 inside the Metroplex.

Temperatures are going to warm up again. Not in the 100 degree range like last week but above normal highs none the less. We should be in the low 90's on Monday with sunny skies. Much the same on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday we should have highs in the mid-90's.

A cold front arrives on Friday, it'll give us a small storm chance (20%) but should knock down temperatures again. We'll have highs on Friday and Saturday in the 80's. I'm forecasting that cold front to stall out over north Texas on Saturday. That means small rain chances are sticking around to start next weekend.

Enjoy the day. Last Sunday we hit 100° to start a six-day run of 100 plus weather. All that seems in the rear view mirror now as we keep deeper into September.
