Child Drowns In Small Pond In Anna

ANNA (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities in Anna confirm an 11-year-old boy drowned in the small lake off South Ferguson Parkway At County Road 1036.
Lt. Chris Havey of the Collin County Sheriff's Department says around 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 4, the boy dove off a small sailboat to swim but never came back up.
The child was not wearing a life vest.
