Chaplain Charged Over Photos At Granbury Nursing Home

GRANBURY (AP) - A chaplain is accused of secretly taking photos at a Fort Worth-area nursing home.

Granbury police say Matthew Christopher Porter was identified by a photo of him allegedly adjusting the camera. The device was found in October in a staff bathroom at Harbor Lakes Plaza Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Porter is no longer associated with The Church at Granbury.

Capt. Alan Hines on Tuesday said police are trying to identify more people in the photos.

Porter is charged with felony improper photography or visual recording. He was arrested Jan. 7 and freed on $20,000 bail.

Porter attorney R. Shay Isham says his client has been the target of threats.

Porter in 2008, in Manatee County, Fla., pleaded no contest to nine counts of misdemeanor voyeurism.
