Chain Reaction Crash Leads to Man's Death
The victim from a fiery, chain-reaction crash Saturday on Stemmons Freeway near Market Center has been identified as Dallas resident Cody Acton. His car was pinned between two other vehicles and he was killed when the wreckage exploded into flames. The chain of events began when an SUV spun out into the guardrail and came to a stop in the middle of a lane of traffic. Acton's Honda then hit the SUV and he was then rear-ended by the third vehicle. Dallas police have not decided whether the SUV driver will face charges.
