Carrollton Police: I-35 SB At Whitlock Closed Due To Serious Crash

CARROLLTON (CBSDFW.COM) — Carrollton police told drivers to avoid I-35E southbound at Whitlock Lane when the highway was closed following a "serious crash involving a motorcycle," according to a tweet from the department Saturday afternoon. The highway reopened around 6:00 p.m.
The 35Express project earlier said southbound I-35E at Belt Line Road, which is in the same area, would be closed for several hours due to a crash.
The department said all traffic was being forced to exit.
