Calm Morning, Warm And Breezy Afternoon

A calm, dry commute this morning for a change of pace. There'll be a little fog with lows getting down close to the mid-30's. Mostly sunny skies and breezy today. Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday afternoon, in the upper 60's with a breezy afternoon. Winds are out of the southwest and pick up as a cold front moves towards us from the northwest.

WINDY THIS EVENING

That cold front arrives this early evening, it will turn the winds to the west then northwest. Those winds will pick up later in the evening and overnight. There is no moisture for the front to work with so its passing only gives us a wind shift and a few clouds. Lows will drop down to the upper 30's but those northwest winds will get to around 20mph, the wind chill will be in the 20's.

MUCH COOLER TOMORROW

Typical winter weather in north Texas, temperatures jumping around from day to day. After highs in the 60's for a couple of days we'll only be in the LOW 50's tomorrow. There'll be lots of sunshine but the windy conditions (winds NW 15-20mph) will keep it chilly. That wind will die down some in the late afternoon.

FREEZING START TO SUNDAY

We'll have temperatures below freezing on Sunday morning so expect some frost. We'll have temperatures leap to around 60 by afternoon with sunny skies. A nice afternoon on Sunday.

WARMER NEXT WEEK

It looks like the mild winter weather continues. Highs in the mid-60's on Monday and sunny, we'll be around 70° for a high both Tuesday and Wednesday. Clouds both those days with a slight chance of rain on Tuesday night. That's the only talk of rain for the extended. It appears in the long range models that mostly dry and mostly mild weather will be around to start February with.
