'Burgers 4 Babies' Mixes Food With Good Cause
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A special event kicks off Thursday night in Fort Worth, combining the finest names in food with the kindness of a good cause. 'Burgers 4 Babies' is a fundraiser aimed at raising awareness and financial support for the very youngest of patients -- babies born prematurely. A collection of chefs are coming to The Woodshed Smokehouse in Fort Worth to prepare their best signature dishes for NICU Helping Hands, a group that offers assistance to those tiny children and the parents struggling during stressful times.
The grills start heating up at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday night, but CBS 11 News took an early look at what diners can expect to see -- and taste -- while helping out North Texans in need of some support.
