Book Store Shutting Down Only To Open Again
A local business is shutting down..and opening soon.
Legacy Books in Plano is gone as of Saturday but will rise like the mythological Phoenix this fall with a new name, "A Real Bookstore" and a new location in the Village at Fairview--nestled between the J.C. Penney and Macy's. The Morning News says "A Real Bookstore" is Teri Tanner's vision for a post-recession bookstore. She's the managing partner of Legacy Books which shuts its doors this weekend after less than two years. Her new venture will go on-line in October, with the brick-and-mortar version opening in mid-November.
