Blowing Dust in Lubbock!

The winds are so strong behind the cold front in Lubbock, dust storms are being stirred up.  Check out some of these photos!

This one from Facebook..meteorologist Jason Jordan shows the cold front moving in.

This one is from Nickolas Means in Southeast Lubbock, you can see the sun still shining while the storm starts blowing into town:

Check out the brown haze from Kendra Mell in Lubbock in this photo:

And finally, a TXDOT traffic camera captured the visibility near zero in Abernathy, just north of Lubbock, as the dust storm moved in.

We won't see a dust storm here, but this type of scenario will likely send some of this dust our way.  You'll most likely notice a slightly dirtier car tomorrow morning, if you leave it parked outside.
