Bicyclist Found Dead Along Fort Worth Road

FORT WORTH (AP) - Police are investigating after they say a 34-year-old bicyclist was found dead on the shoulder of a Fort Worth road after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

The Tarrant County medical examiner's office says Jacob Waganer was pronounced dead at the scene early Saturday morning.

Police say they had been dispatched to the scene to respond to an accident.

The medical examiner's office says Waganer died from blunt force injuries to his head and neck.
