Back to Cold
A cold front arrived this mid-morning into the metroplex. It briefly hit 50° until the winds started to pick up from the northwest. We've watched the temperatures drop since with wind chills dropping in the 20's. Keep in mind that just yesterday afternoon it was 60°:
Bundle up if you are heading out tonight. The winds will stay up as the clouds stick around. Wind chills will drop all the way down to the teens. The skies will clear out by tomorrow morning but expect the cold winds to continue to blow. Lows will drop all the way down to the 20's:

For the first day of the New Year we expect a nice warm-up with a steady southwest wind. Highs will leap into the low 60's! Another cold front arrives that night and we'll be back to a couple of days of cold weather. After another nice warm up on Saturday ANOTHER cold front hits us Saturday night. We'll include a slight chance of rain with this one:
We are watching for the potential of a major snow storm on the east coast at the end of the week. Right now it looks like Boston and New York could be greatly effected by it. We'll keep an eye on it for the holiday travelers:
