Authorities Investigate Fatal Boating Accident at Lake Fork
LAKE FORK (CBSDFW.COM) -- Game wardens with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department are investigating a fatal boating accident that occurred on Monday night at Lake Fork.
Authorities say that two vessels collided around 8:45 p.m. Monday night, killing both drivers. A passenger aboard one of the vessels was severely injured and was transported by helicopter to a Dallas area hospital.
One of the boats involved sank at the scene. Divers will be on site to raise the vessel using specialized lift bags.
The names of the victims have not been released.
