Austin Grocer Wants Governor Perry Ad Pulled
The owner of a South Austin grocery store really doesn't want to be political. "Farm to Market" Grocery is shown in the new "Perry for Governor" television ad, but owner Peg McCoy says she didn't give permission for the store to be in the ad. "The store doesn't endorse Rick Perry, I've ask them to stop running the ad." McCoy says neither she nor the store are backing any candidate. She says the store isn't a political entity, it's a grocery store.
