Around Town: Quinn & Stella's Jingle Bell Mistletoe

Listen my children and you shall hear a story of mistletoe, giving and cheer. It all started  four years ago when, then six year old, Stella Wrubel wanted to raise money for the Red Cross following Hurricane Sandy.

"My parents and I came up with the idea of selling mistletoe" said Stella Wrubel. Her first philanthropic endeavor raised over two thousand dollars and was a huge success.

In 2013 they brought it home for the North Texas Food Bank and raised $8000, and last year the total was over $18,000 selling mistletoe in the Highland Park Village.

"Every single dollar goes to the North Texas Food bank where one dollar feeds three people," Stella added.

Today, Stella & Quinn will be selling mistletoe in front of Market in the Highland Park Village from 1-4 pm.
