DALLAS (KRLD-AM) - Isabelle and Katherine Adams of Dallas are seven and nine years old but are helping children in third world countries have clean water to drink.
It all started over four years ago when they made some paper origami ornaments to raise money for water wells in third world countries. When they found out what children had to go through to get clean water, it made them all the more resolve to help.
"In a lot of countries they have to walk sometimes seven miles, and then the water that they get is often very dirty," said Co-President of Paper for Water Isabelle Adams.
Together with many volunteers they have raised over $700,000 and built 90 water wells in nine countries around the world. They've done it all by selling their amazing origami paper ornaments.
Isabelle and Katherine Adams are the youngest President's of a non-profit organization in the country.
