Around Town: Cavanaugh Flight Museum DRONE WARS 3!

ADDISON (KRLD) - It was such a hit the first two times, this weekend Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison Airport presents Drone Wars Three!

Cavanaugh Flight Museum is home to warbirds from World War One all the way up to the Viet Nam War.  History is a big part of their mission, but keeping the future of aviation alive is clearly in their sights.

"While we're all about history here, we want to embrace the future.  We want to encourage young people to get involved in aviation and drones are going to be a big part of that" said Scott Slocum of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum.

Qualifying for Drone Wars Three begins Friday night and the races start on Saturday afternoon at 12:3o pm at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum hanger at Addison Airport.

Bring your own drone or they will have drones there for you to fly for fun.
