Armed Robber Hits Dallas Convenience Store

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A man with a handgun held up the Exxon Mobile at 3003 E. Illinois Avenue in Dallas early Thursday morning.

Police say at 1:16 a.m. the suspect approached the counter and asked for cigarettes. The store clerk turned his back to get the cigarettes, and when he turned back around, the suspect pointed a handgun at him and demanded money from the cash register. The store clerk complied with the suspect and gave him the money that was in the register. The suspect then ran off.

HERE IS VIDEO OF THE SUSPECT

The suspect is described as a black man with short black hair, a goatee, in his mid 20's, 5'8-5'10, and weighing about 160 pounds. He wore an orange/red t-shirt, dark pants, and black shoes.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to 5,000 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment for this felony offense.
