Arlington Police Investigating Twitter Threat To Shoot Up High School

UPDATE: Arlington Police Department found the phone used to send tweets threatening Bowie High School and interviewed teens. Police say there is no verifiable threat to students/faculty.
ARLINGTON (CSBDFW.COM) - Arlington Police are investigating a series of tweets, in which the user threatens to shoot up Bowie High School.
The district tweeted, "We are aware of a Twitter threat. We're working w/ APD & have add'l security. We're not clear that the threat is directed to @JamesBowieHS."
The first tweet, sent around 9 am, included a picture of a gun and said, "at 12 be ready for bowie to hav a schoo shootin"
Another one, sent soon after from the same account said, "I hav 23 bullets nd wnt to kill 10 of yu (expletive)"
The most recent tweet, sent about an hour later said, "im at @jamesbowiehighschool sittin in class thinkin who I should kill first by the way im white nd a junior"
In replies to Twitter users who sent pictures of the tweets to the district, Arlington ISD implied that the threat could be directed to another James Bowie High School.
CBS 11 called Arlington ISD, but the district is not releasing any additional information.
Arlington Police say they have increased presence at Bowie and Sam Houston High Schools, as well as investigating whether the threatening tweets are valid.
