DALLAS (KRLD) - For those days when you want a meal from your favorite restaurant but don't want to leave your home, now there's a solution.

About 60 Dallas restaurants are participating in Amazon Prime's new restaurant delivery service. That includes Blue Goose Cantina, Ellen's Southern Kitchen, Fireside Pies, Deep Sushi, and Snap Kitchen.

"I'm actually really excited we're a part of this," says Shyra Adam, manager of Ellen's Southern Kitchen. "We just expanded our location, and we already deliver through Caviar and PostMates. So it's just great to have another delivery service to get us out there."

Amazon Restaurants is for Prime customers, who can go on the Prime Now app and website to browse through participating restaurants. You can choose your restaurant, choose your food, and then track it until Amazon delivery partners bring it to your door.

Delivery is free and promised in one hour or less. Customers pay the same as they would in the restaurant, with no hidden fees. If a customer sees a meal is priced higher on Prime Now than it is in the restaurant, if they let Amazon know within 24 hours they'll refund the price of the food.

Dallas is the ninth city to be part of Amazon Restaurants. Other cities include Austin, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Participating restaurant owners aren't too worried about their walk-in customers being affected.

"I think our delivery service is going to blow up," says Adam. "Hopefully it will bring more people in. Then, when they get their food, they're going to experience the ambiance of the restaurant and see how great it is."
