Actor kidnapped & forced to party
PALM SPRINGS:
Actor Jeremy London claims that while changing a flat tire, he was kidnapped at gunpoint.
The alleged kidnappers forced London (best known from TV's Party of Five) into his car and forced to smoke pot, purchase alcohol, and then later distribute that alcohol to local gang members around the Palm Springs area.
Sergeant Steve Douglas of Palm Springs Police responds: " First of all, we never knew Palm Springs had a gang area - we assume that's the one neighborhood not turned into a golf course. And second, this story is just plain weird, right?"
