DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A sex predator is off the streets, according to Dallas Police.
Officers arrested Tyler Gale, 21, Monday after he showed up to work as a trash collector for the city of Mesquite. Gale is accused of exposing himself to teenage girls and even trying to abduct one.
"He was very open with what his behavior was, how he was having issues with that," said Deputy Chief Robert Sherwin.
Dallas Police Friday released a grainy video of the man they say, in three separate cases, chased his teen victims, often while he was wearing nothing but a T-shirt.
Officers say he was able to grab one, but she managed to escape.
The first case in May and the most recent one in December both occurred on the 1000 block of Hutchins. The third case occurred on the 3500 block of Blue Ridge in October.
DeSoto police reached out, sharing information on Tyler Gale, a suspect officers there had arrested for "disorderly conduct" in October for exposing himself to adults in a public park.
When Dallas police questioned Gale, they say he confessed.
"He admitted to committing the three offenses we reported and told our detectives about additional offenses he had committed," said Sherwin.
Gale reportedly admitted to exposing himself to two victims on 3020 Bickers in west Dallas in July, a case Dallas police had not previously linked to the others.
Police say they've spoken to the victims involved and that several have identified Gale.
Gale is now charged with four counts of indecency with a child and one count of attempted kidnapping.
