Heat Advisory Extended Through 9pm

Today hit 107!  The temperature hit 107 degrees at DFW Airport today.  It's the hottest day we've had in over two years.
Sunday's high of 105 tied the record for the day at DFW (also hit 105 in 1980), but the morning low also set a new record (83 degrees; previous record was 81 from 1910 & 1952).
We saw scattered storms in North Texas, some powerful enough to cause some damage in Kaufman county with a roof blowing off a mobile home.  Nobody was injured in the storm.
The front will start to move south tomorrow, helped by an upper disturbance – it will still be hot, although isolated storms will again be a possibility. The front will slowly move through north Texas Tuesday and Wednesday with a 10-20% rain chance.
However, our upper high will begin to weaken/move west by Wednesday and with a north wind and more clouds – we may only hit the mid 90s from then through the end of the week!
