7-Letter Plates Back On Sale Monday
AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) - Starting Monday, you have a brief chance to get your hands on a specialty license plate that's in high demand.
In March, My Plates gave Texans seven days to buy 7-character personalized license plates called Freedom Plates. They sold almost $1 million worth of them on the first day.
It was supposed to be a once a year deal, but My Plates spokeswoman Kim Drummond says it's back.

You have until November 14 to buy your 7 character plate at myplates.com. There's even a lay-a-way plan this time.
Money from specialty plates goes into the state's general revenue fund.
