DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Despite Dallas Police arresting two groups of men involving five of the crimes, the robberies keep continuing.

The latest crime occurred near 700 Brookhurst Drive involving a woman who was walking around 6:30 p.m.
"All of a sudden I heard three pounding steps and then this man put a gun to my shoulder," said Liz Surles, who was the sixth person to be involved in an armed robbery.
Surles still cannot believe she walked away uninjured.
"Had it escalated, I could have died. And that's pretty overwhelming," said Surles.
The crimes have all happened in a tight cluster in Lake Highlands involving men with guns and a getaway car.
"I mean it's traumatic, a traumatic experience. No one deserves to go through that and I deserve that have my neighborhood safe and a happy place to be," said Surles.
Dallas Police have now stepped up patrols in the area in the hopes of catching the third group of criminals.
"It's a bit unnerving," said Lt. Chris Harmon with the Dallas Police robbery unit.
Lt. Harmon lives in the area where the crimes are happening and said it is highly unusual for criminals to zone in on Lake Highlands.
"I have no explanation as to why three separate groups of people would commit the same kind of offense in the same area," said Lt. Harmon.
Harmon said with the amount of tips his team is getting, it is only a matter of time before DPD catches this latest batch of bad guys.
Surles said until an arrest happens, she will not be backing down. She said it is her neighborhood, not theirs.
"If I could help one person not have this happen to them then I've done some good," said Surles.
Police encourage people exercising to do it in groups. They also caution about displaying or carrying valuables while exercising outside.

Locations of six armed robberies in Lake Highlands:
-10317 Chesterton Drive
-10200 Lanshire Drive
-9804 Lanshire Drive
-10900 Clearbrook Lane
