5 People Hurt After Car Hits Fort Worth Bus

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Five people were taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a car crashed into a bus in west Fort Worth. The incident was reported at about 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Camp Bowie Boulevard and Bryant Irvin Road.

According to Joan Hunter with the Fort Worth Transportation Authority, the bus was heading eastbound with a total of seven passengers. A car rear-ended the bus, leaving a man and four women hurt. The exact nature of those injuries was not revealed, but all were said to be minor.

The passengers were taken to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth for treatment. The driver of the car was not hurt and did not require any medical attention.

There has been no word about what may have caused the crash.
