3-Year-Old Drowns In Backyard Swimming Pool
BEDFORD (CBSDFW.COM) - Bedford police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy who drowned in a backyard swimming pool.
It happened in the 3000 block of Scenic Hill.
A family member found the child, later identified as Preston Warner, and called 911 but when medics arrived near 7 p.m. the boy was unresponsive.
Preston was transported to Cook Children's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, according to Bedford Police spokesman Kirk Robertson.
