3-Alarm Fire Rages At Dallas Apartment Complex

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Fire-Rescue battled a 3-alarm blaze at the Lake June Village Apartments, located at 1226 North Masters Drive, in East Dallas.

Initial reports indicated smoke was coming from one of the buildings in the complex. Shortly thereafter, fire found its way to the attic space, and the building was practically consumed by fire. Chopper 11 hovered over the fire as flames licked the sky and thick, black and gray smoke billowed from dozen of units.

There was no word at the time of this report about what caused the fire, the number of units impacted or the number of residents displaced.

There have been no reported injuries, and approximately 60-70 firefighters have responded.
