26-Year-Old Man Arrested For Attempted Indecency With A Child

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - On August 14, 2015, Dallas Police arrested Derrick Wilson, 26, for Attempted Indecency with a Child.

Patrol officers responded to a call regarding two 11 year old girls who were approached by Wilson. One of the victims said that he approached her and her friend. Wilson then raised the victim's skirt up with his hand approximately 3 inches. The child knocked the Wilson's hand away and ran home and told her mother.

The victim identified Wilson to her mother and neighbors who held him until patrol officers arrived.

Wilson was interviewed by Child Exploitation Detectives and transported to Lew Sterrett where he is being held on a $25,000 bond.
