18-Wheeler Driver Dies After Struck By Amtrak Train In Mesquite

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - UPDATE (4:25 p.m. 1/15/2016) - The Dallas County Sheriff's office has identified Shannon Keith Thomas as the driver of the 18-wheeler in yesterday's accident. No other information is available at this time.
An Amtrak train hit an 18-wheeler in Mesquite Thursday afternoon.
It happened in the 4600 block of Scyene Road.
The big rig, a rock hauler overturned and sources tell CBS11 the driver died.
No injuries to Amtrak passengers or crew.
