Texans are no longer under a statewide mandate to wear face coverings in public, but residents shouldn't be too quick to throw out their masks.
An Uber driver in San Francisco was assaulted and coughed-upon by a woman riding with two other women after he refused them service for not wearing masks, in an attack the driver captured on video.

The lifting of the the statewide mask mandate and all other COVID-19 restrictions, allows bars and restaurants to decide how many guests they will let inside.
Businesses across the state of Texas have made or are still making decisions on whether or not to still require masks after the statewide mandate ends Wednesday at midnight, March 10.
"The emergency item includes any inaccurate excessive charges and any issues regarding ancillary service prices," the brief news release said.
"We're not just interested in 1a or 1b or teachers or child care workers," Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley said. "We want everybody to register."
"I just had a terrible cough and fever, that wasn't going away," he recalls, "but never in a million years, could I imagine COVID."
