Guy Campanile has been with CBS News for more than 35 years, reporting on major stories including 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the war against terrorism, the Great Recession, and seven U.S. presidential races. Campanile has been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards and has been nominated for many others.
In one of his recent roles, Campanile relaunched CBS Evening News, sharpening its focus on enterprise reporting and in-depth storytelling at the flagship broadcast.
Campanile is a graduate of Syracuse University. He was the first in his family to earn a four-year college degree.
