The 39-year-old man encountered the shark in Maui's Paia Bay Saturday morning and was rushed to shore by Ocean Safety officers.
A teenage boy's body was pulled from the water after reports of a shark attack, South Australia Police said.
The 21-year-old woman, who has not been identified, suffered a "significant laceration to her leg," officials said.
