An explosive wildfire burned through several northern California communities, killing at least three people and destroying dozens of homes. CBS News correspondent Carter Evans joined CBSN to give details on the latest California wildfire.

A deadly wildfire is raging toward Redding, California, a city of about 92,000 people. A bulldozer operator working at the edge of the Carr Fire has died, and officials said that at least three firefighters have been burned while trying to contain the flames. Joe Vazquez of CBS station KPIX-TV reports from Redding.
