Pittsburg Apartment Shooting Leaves 1 Hurt
PITTSBURG (CBS SF) -- Police were investigating a shooting at a Pittsburg apartment complex Thursday night that sent one man to the hospital, a police lieutenant said Friday.
Officers responded around 9:15 p.m. Thursday to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex at 850 E. Leland Road, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, Lt. Ron Raman said.
The victim, a 26-year-old Antioch resident, was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Raman said the man was uncooperative with police and declined to provide information about the shooting.
As a result, no suspect information is available and police had yet to determine a moabout the shooting.
The incident is Pittsburg's second shooting in a week. On Sept. 8, an 18-year-old Brentwood man was shot and killed while filming a rap video at a Pittsburg park.
