3-Alarm Oakland Fire Damages 2 Homes
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A three-alarm fire that spread between two West Oakland homes was brought under control by firefighters Tuesday morning, according to a fire dispatcher.
The fire was reported at 3:29 a.m. in the 900 block of 24th Street near Market Street, fire officials said.
The blaze spanned two single-family homes and was brought under control by 4:44 a.m., fire officials said.

No injuries had been reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
