1 Hurt In San Jose Shooting

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man who was shot in San Jose on Sunday night remained hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries Monday morning, a police officer said.

The shooting was reported around 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of East San Antonio Street in San Jose, Officer Jose Garcia said.

Officers arrived at the scene and found a man in his 30s suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The shooter or shooters had fled before police arrived.

The shooting came just hours after a fatal shooting in the city Sunday morning. That shooting marked the city's 28th homicide this year.
