Although the two teams tied last time, nobody gave the Rams a shot in the rematch against the 49ers. San Francisco scored first and it looked like a rout, but St. Louis fought hard for four quarters, forced overtime, earned the upset, and won the season series against the NFC West-leading 49ers.
Colin Kaepernick blamed himself after losing for the first time as the San Francisco 49ers' starting quarterback. It appears he will not be losing his job.
