San Francisco responded after last weeks last with a 34-0 win over the New York Jets. The team did not play great, but dominated the Jets the whole day and showed that they are the team with a back up quarterback who can make a difference.
The injury report for the 49ers and Jets had the usual precautionary listings, but the name that stood out is Darrelle Revis. The Jet star is out of the season and both teams will attack the game differently with him out of the line up.
The match up between the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers will be a game featuring teams with identical records who can't afford to lose the game. The Jets just lost their best player in Darrelle Revis and will playing short handed on defense. The big question entering the game is what impact if any Tim Tebow will have.

The 49ers played the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday and never looked like themselves. After allowing their opposition to score a touchdown on their opening drive, helped by a personal foul penalty and a great play by Minnesota quarterback Christian Ponder, San Francisco was never in the game. It was the home team that showed heart and fight and handed San Francisco its first loss of the year.

With linebacker Clark Haggans' three-game suspension handed down by the NFL, San Francisco again needed to fill a void. This time they called Eric Bakhtiari who will have the chance to prove himself while Haggans is out. If he can make the most out of this chance, then Bakhtiari could find himself a member of the San Francisco 49ers for good.
