Trump Approves Major Disaster For State Of Louisiana
LOUISANA (CBS13) -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that Federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Louisiana to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, tornadoes, and straight-line winds on February 7, 2017.
The President's action makes Federal funding available to affected individuals in Livingston and Orleans parishes.
The State of California has requested such assistance from the President as well.
