Thousands get power back on after outage in Rio Linda on Fourth of July night
RIO LINDA — A Fourth of July power outage left thousands of SMUD customers in the dark in Rio Linda for about an hour.
The outage occurred just before 8:55 p.m. and was affecting more than 4,000 customers.
Restoration occurred by 9:55 p.m.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
