I Street Reopens After Standoff Suspect Taken Into Custody
The onramp from 5th Street to the I Street Bridge in Sacramento was closed Monday because of a standoff with a suspect believed to be armed.
According to police, the suspect brandished a weapon at the Sacramento Valley Train station and ran away. He was in the area of the northbound Interstate 5 ramp from I Street.
The man was later taken into custody.
I Street is back open.
