GameStop Burglary Suspects Fight Off Deputy To Escape
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) -- A search was under way for two suspects who broke into a video game store in Citrus Heights and fought off a deputy.
Sheriff's deputies were alerted to the break-in when a burglary alarm went off at the GameStop on Garfield and Greenback Lane overnight.
A sheriff's deputy responded and caught two suspects inside the store.
However, the suspects were able to fight him off.
The suspects got away and ran to the Arcade Creek bed where officers were concentrating their search.
The deputy wasn't hurt.
The suspects did not take anything from the store.
