Fairfield Man Who Drowned Dog In Civic Center Pond Found Not Guilty
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — A Fairfield man charged with drowning his family's dog in the civic center pond was found not guilty by a jury on Friday.
A jury took less than two hours to find Bryan Cavannah not guilty of felony animal cruelty.
Cavannah admits he drowned the pit bull in August. He said he was in an unconscious state.
He suffers from epilepsy and may not have been conscious of what he was doing.
