"He was intercepted by armed individuals in two vehicles, who violently forced him to get out and took him away to an unknown location," the army said.
Police provided no description of the suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
Stoudemire is charged with battery, Miami Police Department records show. He denies the charges.

Two Mexican nationals living in Sacramento and Stockton have been charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine packaged for sale.
